Two months into my weight loss journey I am seeing positive results. I have started a daily 1.5 to 2 mile walk which is pleasant at the end of the working day, especially as it gets lighter in the evenings. Certainly my clothing is already looking and fitting better. In some cases I have already been able to wear smaller sizes and some clothing perhaps looking bigger fit wise.

I remain quite good at logging all my foods on the Nutra Check app that I am using and despite staying in a hotel for four nights in February, I managed to stay within my calorie targets. I am still determined to get rid of the extra pounds and I a now at a point when others comment that your weight loss is becoming noticeable. While I have still not weighed myself, the maths indicate deficit wise that I should have lost something in the region of 1 stone 7 lbs which is pretty good. Maybe soon I will weigh myself as I am nearly at the point when I should be able to face the scales.

In March I have my Birthday coming up and will likely have a day off from the diet for the one day. By then I hopefully will be close to the 2 stone loss mark. Signing up to the Nutra Check app has certainly been a good idea and it continues to help track my progress. Most days I am quite a bit under and I am becoming accustomed to eating less. The oddity is that while I am eating less than I could each day, you end up feeling like you are eating too much as your appetite shrinks.

My wife is also on the same diet which is really helpful and we can both motivate each other. One treat I had this week is some bread! I love bread and hardly have had any in the last two months. Still, it was all part of my daily calorie count. Certainly when the diet ends, it will likely be good ideal to consume less bread permanently.

Next month I know there may be a few occasions that I will be eating out. So while I will be careful, if I go over the daily allowance, I will just make sure I am under deficit wise for the entire week and all should then be well. In a way, these restaurant opportunities should make it easier to stay on track. This month I had a couple of occasions where I could have broken the diet but thankfully just had a treat instead that was calorie counted.
