A group of Scottish magicians will bring their award-winning magic show to Dundee for the first time this September.

Four Magicians – starring Smith & Burns, Eoin Smith and James Dickson – was named the top magic show in the UK by readers of MagicSeats.co.uk, beating the likes of Penn & Teller and Britain’s Got Talent winner Richard Jones to the top spot.
The show will take place in Sweet @ Keiller Centre as part of the fifth Dundee Fringe at 2.15pm on September 20, 2025. Tickets costing £10 are available now from https://dundeefringe.com/four-magicians.
Smith & Burns’ Ivor Smith said: “The response we’ve had to the show on tour has been incredible. So many people have seen magic on TV but never had the chance to see it live, so we’re really looking forward to bringing Four Magicians to the Dundee Fringe this September.”
Ivor’s double act partner, Jeff Burns, added: “Double acts in magic are uncommon, but seeing four magicians on stage at the same time is even rarer. This really is a show unlike anything anyone has seen before.”
Four Magicians features incredible sleight of hand, unexplainable acts of mind reading and plenty of comedy as the performers take the audience on a rollercoaster ride through the world of magic. The Dundee performance follows a string of sold-out shows across Scotland, which garnered rave reviews from audiences and critics alike.
Speaking of what audiences can expect, James Dickson said: “We like to think of the show as a comedy sketch show with a magic twist – you never quite know what’s going to happen next!”
The magical quartet met as members of Aberdeen Magical Society, however Eoin and Ivor have a further connection.
Eoin explained: “It’s a real thrill to be able to perform alongside my dad every time we step on stage. We’ve both been performing for years, so it’s frankly incredible that it’s taken this long for us to finally perform together!
“In fact, although all four of us have been friends for a long time, it wasn’t until we wrote this show that we actually all stepped on stage together. It’s a real joy to be out there performing alongside your mates every night.”
