Food festivals have become incredibly popular in the last decade. The annual Festival in Leamington Spa is one of the largest in the Midlands, at least in my area. Held in the massive Pump Room Gardens, the event features numerous stalls offering a diverse range of food, including Asian, Italian/pizza, fish and chips, and even stalls selling sauces, cheese, bread, cakes, sweets, churros, and more. A cookery school and live music performances are also part of the festivities, with around 120 stalls and companies in attendance. There’s certainly plenty of choice, and there are also bars for drinks. It’s a great place to find something for everyone!

This year the event runs on the weekend of the 6th and 7th of September. We had been looking forward to attending and just hoped the weather would be good. Thankfully it was alright.

We have attended many times but have missed it in more recent years, in part down to the weather. The event always draws in a massive crowd, and if you can attend this weekend, it is a fun event. The crowd is good-natured, and though busy, queues for stalls are normally quite quick.

We were of course tempted and bought cup cakes and Greek wraps.

As usual, it was very well organised and security to help manage the event.

  • Easter Eggs

“ As Easter approaches, I’m hoping to stay strong and avoid chocolate. My goal is to eat just one egg. Can I manage that? “

“The second season is nearly done, and somehow I’ve only just discovered this show. I’m about to start the series one finale and honestly, what a great watch it’s been. It feels like 24 meets Lost, with plenty of twists and surprises along the way. I’m hoping it just keeps getting better.“
