My daughter loves shopping and her face lit up when she saw the shops on board.

A mini mall includes a variety of shops selling everything from perfumes, clothes, watches, jewellery, sunglasses and gifts. 17 shops in total, mainly on decks 7.

Lots of “Arvia” and P&O branded goods are also on sale. A particularly liked a nice mini “Arvia” ship model is on sale and I bought one as a souvenir for my office. Picture below.

All goods are available tax free. For most products you generally find a range of pricing offered from affordable to expensive depending on your budget and your brands of choice.

Our favourite shop was what we called the market. Goods available to buy changed daily with offers. Rings, chains, watches and handbags etc in an affordable range. Often with offers for multiple buys.

If interested in buying any jewellery chains, they can also be cut to the length that you require with various silver and gold chain available.

I managed to pick up a Sekonda watch for £28 which I was pleased with. Previously £49.95. Pic below. The clever part of the products available in that marketplace shop is it keeps drawing you back to the shopping deck as different items daily.

Offers are not only advertised within the shops but often within the Horizon magazine that is dropped off at your cabin door everyday. For instance, 20% off jewellery was advertised one day.

If you have your eye on anything that is a bigger purchase, hold off and wait for a discount that will be advertised. Note though, if you are interested in any Arvia goods, they were not discounted during our cruise.

The main shop that sells Arvia merchandise also sells toys and gifts at reasonable prices. It also has some books and personal care products for sale. One word of warning though, do stock up on cough syrups and tablets as they will likely sell out as they did on our cruise.
