For anyone local to me, I wanted to share my experience with the excellent “Melanie Webb Flowers”. This florist is easily accessible in Hillmorton (Rugby), making it really convenient to pick up flowers. So far this year, I’ve bought flowers for my wife’s birthday, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter. They also offer delivery and you can also grab coffee and drinks.

It’s a busy and efficient shop, and I’ve used it quite a bit this year. I used to buy my flowers elsewhere, but I’ve been really impressed since using this florist. The flowers are always fresh, stored properly in refrigerated displays, and they last a good amount of time once home. While they’re expected to last around a week, we often find they last even longer.

The team are always pleasant and welcoming, and there’s also a coffee shop on site, which is a nice bonus during my walks. I do enjoy a latte, and although I haven’t tried their brownies yet, they certainly look tempting. You can also get free stamps towards free coffee.

While you can pre-order flowers, you can also pop in and pick up a ready-made, paper-wrapped bouquet if you’re passing by, or have one made up for you.

I’ve watched the team preparing arrangements and they clearly take pride in their work. The prices for walk-in bouquets are also very reasonable, and not much more than what you might pay at a town centre stall or supermarket, and the quality is noticeably better.

I tend to buy flowers roughly every six weeks for various occasions, and this will definitely be my go-to shop going forward. The last ones I bought were just a few weeks ago for Easter.
