List five things you do for fun.

As your interests evolve and new opportunities present themselves, your hobbies naturally change. Here’s a list of my current five favourite things to do for fun.

Cinema

I’ve always enjoyed a good film and visiting the cinema with my pass is a firm favourite fun activity. The pass is the key here and since subscribing to Cineworld, I can go relatively often at low cost.

Writing/Blogging

I’m actually writing a memoir but I blog most days. I enjoy uploading content to this website; it’s a bit like keeping an online diary of my daily activities. I find writing a little addictive.

Magic

This was an interest I got back into about 8 years ago as I wanted to see for myself whether many effects you watch on TV are possible live. In the most part they are and I am a member of the Leicester Magic Circle. Many hours spent on this activity.

Reading

I don’t read enough but I do enjoy a good autobiography on my Kindle. I certainly have plenty to read and I might get some time during my upcoming holiday.

Gaming

Years ago this would have been my top favourite. Things change and while I still enjoy a good game I don’t spend as much time on it as I used to. This is mainly because the PS5 game line-up has been disappointing. However I still enjoy a bit of Switch gaming.

I’ve developed a few new interests but they’re more occasional than regular. Lego is one of them for starters. Health and exercise is also an interest but not listed as while walking can be relaxing (for exercise), it is not always fun!

My quick takes…

Have a good one! Should be blinding weather hopefully for this Bank Holiday.

In case you are wondering what has happened to the cinema reviews, I have been on holiday for a couple of weeks. Keep an eye out, as more reviews are starting again this weekend… (from May 16th).
