What is good about having a pet?
As a child, I had an amazing cat called Lizzy. Over the years I’ve had a few different pets (mainly cats), and each one has brought comfort, love, and fun into my life. Lizzy lived to 16, and I still remember her fondly to this day nearly 30 years after her death.
Our current family cat, Molly, brings so much entertainment and joy to our home. She’s a loving little cat, and she’s been especially wonderful for our daughter, following her around the house and sleeping in her room.
Animals really do bring personality and warmth to a household. Molly has her own little quirks that always make us smile. We wouldn’t be without her, she’s an equal part of the family and helps make our house a home. Just seeing her lazing around lifts my mood, and she’s so chatty that it almost sounds like she says hello when she meows.
