Everyday while on board our cruise you get delivered a copy of Horizon in the evenings. The printed guide details all the activities for that day and any news. You then can keep an eye out for any talks of interest.

In truth though, watch out for some of the talks that will be just sales pitches in disguise to sell you something. However, far more talks than you could ever attend.

However, some of the sessions are very useful and can include exercises or even crafts.

We did not attend many but did get to see a couple of really interesting “Orca” talks. From what I understand, you can get some very interesting talks arranged so do keep an eye.

On the first day, a special saving marine life talk caught our eye. A “Whales and Dolphin In Our Waters” by Orca conservationist – Becci Jewell. This was the first of a few talks and this one helped you understand about all the different species and what to look out for.

The Horizon magazine is worth checking when it is distributed each evening with the nexts days events and talks.

I also attended a second talk by Orca as very good and they gave an update on sightings during the first week.

Also of interest to me was a couple of magic workshops (Kane & Abel and then Manuel Martinez) that helped pass the time. Some of the activities advertised are also for kids.
