We fancied a treat and, for Father’s Day, my family took me to this buffet restaurant in Coventry. Visiting on the Sunday before Father’s Day helped us avoid the expected crowds, and we were looking forward to trying a venue that caters for such a wide range of tastes. With Indian, kebabs, pizza, Chinese, sushi, desserts and much more on offer, there really is something for everyone.
On arrival, we paid and were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. As it was a Sunday, the cost was just under £22 per adult. Children are charged at a lower rate, although eligibility is determined by height rather than age, which seemed a little unusual. Prices also vary depending on the day and time of your visit.
Once seated, guests can stay for a maximum of 90 minutes. Between the three of us, we sampled a large selection of the dishes available and felt the quality and variety represented excellent value for money.
Our table server, Shania, was warm, friendly and extremely helpful, taking the time to explain how everything worked. She is a real credit to the company, which appears to place a strong emphasis on both customer service and food quality. Alongside the buffet, we opted for the unlimited soft drinks package, which included a good range of popular drinks on tap, complete with ice.
The restaurant itself is modern, spacious and well laid out. The buffet is sensibly divided into sections based on cuisine, making it easy to find what you are looking for. Handwashing reminders are clearly displayed, and there is a dedicated handwashing station available for customers.
We made several trips to the buffet and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was fresh, plentiful and regularly replenished. One particularly nice touch is the live cooking area at the back of the restaurant, where steaks and smash burgers can be freshly prepared to order.
Overall, this was an excellent dining experience that I would happily recommend. The whole family enjoyed it, and it is certainly somewhere we will be returning to in the future.
