My sister and family bought me this Creator Kit (thanks Mo). I was particularly drawn to the Exotic Parrot, but it also includes a frog and fish as a 3-in-1 set.

This is a smaller set that’s quick to build but still fun. I found it on Amazon for about 25% less than other e-retailers.

I built the frog and fish first before displaying the parrot which I made last.

Inside the box were three main bags and a surprising amount of Lego. This was more than I expected, along with three manuals for building the creations.

I built one every day for a few days and I found it incredibly good value for money. I’ll definitely be buying more of the 3 in 1 creator sets.

Frog

This was my first build and it was surprisingly quick and easy. I finished it in about 20 minutes and it looks decent. It’s not amazing but it was enjoyable. The extra pieces give it a puzzle-like feel when building. Tue completed model is also about the size I expected.

Fish

Fortunately, I had one of those orange Lego tools which helped me break the frog apart to build this. Without, I would have struggled to dismantle the bricks and you do not get one in this build.

I’m not a big fan of fish models but I was actually quite impressed and enjoyed this one more than the frog.

It also takes about 25 minutes to quickly build and set it up.

Parrot

This was the build I’d been waiting for. It’s a straightforward easy build from the ground up and takes a logical approach as you start with the base and finish with the head. It’s impressive and looks great. The instructions were easy to follow and the build took about 40 minutes.

Another completed set that looks impressive on the shelves in my office. A decent size as well.
