Having recently built the Lego Gameboy (see here), I organised a Christmas Eve box for my family containing the Lego Gingerbread House.

As a family we took turns building and sorting the Lego parts for each build section, working through the instructions and numbered packets.

We built the Lego Festive Gingerbread house over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It’s also makes a lovely ornament for the festive season.

This well-designed and relatively small set opens up with hinges to reveal a larger display and includes little rooms with furniture. It also features a Lego character.

As expected, it was a lot of fun building the set, and inspired me to consider purchasing a more advanced kit. Keep an eye out for pictures that I will share of the Mario Kart set I have also bought.

My next build.

My quick takes…
