Unbelievably as another year closes, I wish all our readers a very Happy New Year for 2026.
With the site clearly focusing on some main channels in 2025 as the year progressed with health, tech, film and magic all featuring heavily, it’s time to reflect on the year.
This year the site published nearly 200 blog posts. A page listing the most popular ones is here but I wanted to share my personal favourites and explain why I enjoyed writing them in this post.
Tech
My tech posts about YouTube and Honest Mobile were the most popular overall for 2025. However, I enjoyed writing the most about the benefits of blogging and my own experiences.

When I first started building websites I had no idea how much personal pleasure I’d gain from writing. This website is my hobby and I spend a lot of time writing posts. The content ranges from reviews to commentary on my interests and this favourite post details the benefits that I have gained from creating the website and blogging.
Film
The newest content channel on this site specialising in film and TV has given me a fantastic opportunity to regularly review films at the cinema. Since early October I’ve already seen and reviewed around 25 films. I plan many more film reviews for 2026.

My Cineworld Unlimited membership, which I now subscribe to, contributes to the opportunity to write film reviews. I thoroughly enjoy this subscription scheme and reviewed my experience a few months back.
Health
This year I’ve documented my weight loss journey, shedding 5 1/2 stone. I’ve been writing monthly updates to keep track of my progress.

My favourite post is probably the realisation of all the benefits I’ve gained since losing weight. Some benefits have improved my life, while others have positively impacted on others like no longer snoring.
Magic
My magic posts used to be on a separate website called “Magic Seats” but are now part of this blog’s content to promote magic.

My personal favourite post was about finally seeing Steven Frayne perform live. I’ve witnessed many magical acts over the years but unlike many friends, I’d never met or seen him perform. It was truly the highlight of 2025 and my favourite magic moment ever.

Please do keep visiting the site and a lot more content is planned for 2026. And if you like my posts, please do subscribe.
