Having booked a front-row seat for Ben’s Leicester show as soon as tickets went on sale, I was really looking forward to seeing the performance up close. Despite arriving 20 minutes late thanks to Leicester’s extreme traffic, I was relieved to get in. I was disappointed to miss the first 20 minutes, which undoubtedly set the tone and theme, but it didn’t stop me enjoying the rest of the show.

Within minutes, it was clear this was something special. Ben’s skills seem to improve with every new show, and he is now in my top three must-see magicians that I would recommend to see live. He’s a unique performer, entertaining, very funny, and completely engaging, while blending his own creations with classic magic. His narration is always spot-on, and the visuals and audio add to a polished, professional production.

He performed a couple of his signature set pieces along with many new effects I hadn’t seen before. Everything was presented superbly, with a mix of card magic, mentalism, and a wide range of props including mirrors, forks, hoops, pipe cleaners and more. The show flew by, and Ben worked the audience brilliantly, creating strong interaction throughout. The pace was fast, apart from one incredible mentalism section which was perhaps just a touch too long.

If you get the chance to see this tour, you won’t be disappointed. I’ve seen a lot of magic, and not many performers reach this standard. This was my third Ben Hart show and I’d definitely book again to see “The Remarkable Ben Hart.”
