What would my life be like without music?

While corny, I believe most of us have a soundtrack to our lives. It’s made up of songs that evoke memories, special occasions, events, and people.

Like most teenagers, I heavily got into music, often spending hundreds of pounds on the latest vinyl and releases each month. In reflection I spent a ridiculous amount on music.

Thanks to streaming, I now listen to music even more. Apple Music offers the convenience of streaming in the car, and I’ve set Alexa to auto-play music daily during work time. I also listen to a lot of music while walking. Unlike others, I prefer playlists and albums over radio.

Without music, it’s truly unimaginable. It would be a massive loss, and your life’s soundtrack would be silent. Songs often act as timestamps for special memories, and their ability to evoke those moments would be lost.

Music accompanies everything from films and TV to events and more. Without musicians creating music that enhances our lives, everything would be very boring.
