I have been a fan of the TV show “Mandy” for the last few years and previously reviewed series 3 last year (here). I was really looking forward to this new series, and the show dropped on BBC iPlayer on Monday, 21 July, with the usual six episodes, each lasting between 15 minutes each. Therefore, it is very easy and quick to binge the series, which I watched on the day of release.

Mandy

The brilliant comedy actress Diane Morgan stars, writes, produces, and directs “Mandy”. If you have not seen the show, it is a must-watch (four series to watch), and for those in the know, you have to view.

Each episode packs in lots with Mandy continuing to try and fail at new careers/jobs. Certainly, her benefits/careers advisor (Tom Badsen) features much more heavily in this series. And regular friend of Mandy, Lola (Michelle Greenidge), is also back. All the usuals also make appearances, like Mark Silcox and even Tony Way. Diane’s posse of regulars!

Mandy

As a very popular show, expect lots of other guest cameos as well which includes Martin Lewis and Paddy McGuinness in this latest series. Episode highlights for me are episodes 5 (Seed) and 6 (It’s not you. It’s Mandy) of this series which end the series very strongly. I won’t give anything away but do look forward to these last two.

A very British comedy which I will have to watch again soon. I can never get enough rewatching episodes.

And if you do binge watch the entire 4 series, keep an eye out for episodes “Russian” (series 1) and “The Career Ladder” (series 3).

Let’s hope we get more “Mandy” very soon!
