A little while ago I reported about the channel 4 app and the ad free version that we subscribe to which is channel 4+.

Currently we have been revisiting many classic comedies shown historically on channel 4. All the more enjoyable as no adverts.

While sitcoms are not generally as good on tv anymore, channel 4 has banged out some classics over the years.

We have just completed watching “The Inbetweeners” again which included the two films. an excellent series which was very funny. All excellent apart from the second film which was a little weak.

Currently we are rewatching “Friday Night Dinner” and “Derry Girls”. Friday Night Dinner is hilarious. It is amazing what you forget and it really is worth a revisit. We are on series 3 currently.

While watching these comedies, I took a browse around the channel 4 app to see what else is on offer. Other notable British comedies include “The IT Crowd”, “Fresh Meat” and “Green Wing.”

If that ain’t enough, they also have a lot of US comedies like “Young Sheldon”, “Ugly Betty”, “The Big Bang Theory”, “3rd Rock From The Sun” and “Modern Family”. They also have some “Simpsons.”

Revisiting some “Third Rock From The Sun” sounds good in the future. I really enjoyed that one and have added that to the list.

We really do feel like we are getting good value from this app by paying for ad free. Currently we are using it more than other apps like Netflix etc.
