Richard is always a pleasure to watch perform magic and mentalism. Since 2018, I’ve reviewed many of his shows, and his latest tour “The Sound Of Magic” stopped at Bedworth Civic Hall, near Coventry this weekend.
The venue was lovely and easily accessible, with parking nearby. A decent-sized audience was in attendance, which also attracted a number of known magicians from the magic community.

This performance was just one of many advertised tour dates for this show. If you enjoy Richard Jones, mentalism, or are curious to see magic performed live, this show is for you. A couple more public shows are scheduled for this year, and many more are already listed for 2026. VIP tickets are also available when you get front-row tickets, which include an additional private show and the opportunity to meet Richard. For more information, check out his website here.
As expected, the performance got off to a strong start with audience participation throughout the show. If you’re looking to get involved, this is the night out for you.
I’ve seen him perform most of his touring shows over the years, and I’ve watched him grow as an artist. Presenting an interactive show with high levels of interaction is no easy feat, but his years of experience shone through during this particular performance. He likely needed to help some eager participants assist while keeping the show on track, and for anyone volunteering to help, you’re in safe hands with Richard. In the last decade, he’s easily performed a few hundred public theatre shows, and many hundreds more private and corporate events!

As expected, the show ended with lots of surprises, including Richard announcing he’d be in the foyer after the show. It’s always lovely to catch up with Richard, and he always makes sure to meet his audience at the end of shows, chat, take photos, and sign items.
The theatre offered a range of merchandise, including caps, keyrings, mugs, magic kits, and signed posters. Everything was reasonably priced, and I bought a poster to get signed at the end of the show to add to my collection of magic memorabilia.

As I left the theatre, all I could hear was positive audience feedback, with many people expressing amazement.
I don’t understand how he was able to do all those things. Mind blowing.
Ecstatic audience member
Watching him perform always astounds me, and this occasion was no different. It was a slick show with high production values, lasting a couple of hours. You certainly get your money’s worth for the ticket price.
