I’m a huge fan of technology and anything that makes life easier. Recently, I bought a new set of weighing scales from Amazon for just £20. They’re Bluetooth with USB-rechargable capabilities, and they also link to an app to save your data. The make is Renpho and sold via Amazon.

The package arrived via Amazon on time, and the scales are well-built. I like the black and red screen with black glass gloss and silver. A USB lead is also included.
My first task was to connect the scales and top up the battery, which I left charging for a few hours. An instruction pamphlet was included for reference with a quick set up quide. I downloaded the app and, after creating an account, it guided me through connecting the scales via Bluetooth. The process was simple, and everything was connected easily and I also calibrated the scales to ensure accuracy. The app displays your weight and other body composition metrics. The settings also allow you to connect to other apps like Apple Health. There are also some nice touches in the app, such as reminders to weigh yourself and the ability to log blood pressure, nutrition, and fitness.
When weighing yourself, you do need to have the app or Apple Watch open to capture your weight. However, if you just want a straightforward weight capture, you can use the scales without connecting if you don’t want to record your weight data. Having the functionality on my Apple Watch to trigger measuring on the scales (to capture weight) was also straightforward and included a history of my weight.
For the quality and ease of use, the product was good value for £24. Reviews are also generally excellent on Amazon. Overall I am impressed so far and it looks good and is easy to clean. If interested in learning more about these scales, visit the link below.
